Dryers
MILW-50SD desiccant dryer
Dries by adsorption rather than by cooling: a bed of activated alumina brings the dew point down to where a refrigerated dryer cannot reach.
Specifications
- Flow
- 424.8 m³/h
This is the other route to the water digit of ISO 8573-1. Instead of cooling the air until the moisture condenses, it passes the air through a bed of activated alumina that holds the moisture back, and regenerates the bed without heat, using a fraction of the air already dried. That is why it reaches a sub-zero dew point, which a refrigerated dryer cannot deliver.

The manufacturer sheet writes the dew point as “−20 ~ 40 °C”, a range whose second end does not read as a specification. We publish −20 °C here because it is the only figure in that range that works as a design value, and we confirm it in writing before quoting.
